For the production of moulds, the company Parola e Luraghi Spa uses automatic “green” sand moulding systems (sand mixed with bentonite, sea coal and water) for the production of pieces of small size and weight up to 40 kg.
Molding is performed in two automated lines.
• No. 1 DISA D1315 plant, flaskless molding for the production
of castings with a poured weigh up to 15 kg.
• No. 1 DISA 130B plant, flaskless molding, for the production of
castings with a poured weight up to 40 kg.
Dimensions of the pattern plates:
Both DISA lines are equipped with an automatic channel pouring furnace.
Sandblasting is carried out subsequently on line: a belt conveyor
connects the shakeout rotary cooling drum directly to the sandblasting machine.
