MAGENTA
In the Magenta facility a plant fully automated takes care of both the preparation and reclamation of green sand. It
consists of a sand muller and a cooler with a GREENSAND controller; in addition, a mechanical reclamation unit is currently used for sands agglomerated with chemical binders (phenol and furan resins). In the automatic cycle, the sand after shakeout is sent to the reclamation system and then stored in silos ready for reusing.
